JEWELRY CARE

HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY JEWELRY?

Did you know that wearing your jewelry every day will help maintain its shine and avoid tarnishing? For peace of mind and long-lasting shine, each jewelry purchase comes with a tab of anti-tarnish paper. Just pop it in your jewelry box to help preserve the finish. I recommend removing from wear before showering or swimming and put your rings on last when dressing to avoid contact with creams and chemicals that might react with the metal. If needed, polish with a soft cloth, and store out of direct sunlight. Read the full jewelry care guide.

SIZE GUIDE

HOW DO I CHOOSE A CHAIN LENGTH?

As a guide, the 16” fine silver chain will cradle the pendant so it sits on your breastbone below the hollow where your collarbone meets. This is perfect for those who prefer the look and feel of a choker, as opposed to something with more room and movement. The 18” will sit roughly level with your armpits, square on your chest and gives the necklace more room to move. It accents a buttoned blouse or v neck top with class and opulence. A 20” chain will sit within the top of the cleavage line, adding a dramatic statement to flowing tops. Perfect for elegant evening events or adding uplifting energy to every day.

WHAT IS MY RING SIZE?

I will mail you a ring sizer for the price of shipping so you can order a ring with confidence that it will fit, click here and add it to your cart. 

Alternatively, you may use a one of the methods outlined in this blog post to determine your ring size with items you likely have around your house.

As most rings are made to order, they will be shipped approximately 3-5 business days from order date and/or confirmation of desired ring size. 

BESPOKE JEWELRY

WHAT IS THE PROCESS TO COMMISSION A CUSTOM, BESPOKE PIECE OF JEWELRY?

The first step to work with me on your bespoke piece of jewelry is to submit this form. Once I receive your form, we will schedule a phone or video call to discuss your ideas, timeline, and budget. I will then email you a design sketch and price quote for your project. A deposit of 50% of the project cost is required to begin the design process and sourcing materials. I include three design revisions for most projects, additional revisions may add to the project costs. The balance of the invoice is due prior to shipping your completed, one of a kind piece. 

SHIPPING

HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE TO SHIP TO ME? 

Orders of in stock items ship within 2-3 days from the date the order is placed. Rings that are made to order will ship from 3-5 business days upon order and confirmation of ring size. See below for estimated delivery times based on your delivery destination.

UNITED STATES

Domestic shipping (within the United States) is complimentary on orders over $150. Orders ship via tracked, insured, USPS first class mail. You can expect to receive your order within 5-7 business days. It’s best to allow for ample time around the busy holiday gifting seasons - be sure to sign up for my newsletter for holiday shipping timelines.

INTERNATIONAL

International orders are shipped using either USPS priority or first class and according to USPS web site, they estimate 6-8 business days, however 2-3 weeks is probably more accurate depending upon the destination country. Buyer is responsible for any customs taxes, duties, or fees required by your country.

RETURNS & WARRANTY

WARRANTY

All jewelry pieces are covered by a 6-month replacement warranty with proof of purchase. Please refer to my jewelry care guide on how to care for your jewelry as the warranty covers faulty items, not wear and tear. Repair requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please email kristen@flyingsilverstudio.com with a photo and order number for prompt assessment.

RETURNS

Flying Silver Studio sales are final. We do not accept returns or offer refunds. We may offer exchanges under limited circumstances.
